Amply provided with parking, The HD One will also be served by other forms of transport. A link will be formed with local taxi services to provide a ready evening and late night alternative door-to-door, and the Council's Stadium Axis planning guidelines of August 2006 set out the aspiration shared by KSDL of a high quality pedestrian route from the town centre to The HD One site. Progress continues in making this a reality.

Buses will initially serve between the town centre, The HD One site, and other destinations. KSDL hopes to connect Huddersfield town centre and The HD One by a high capacity cable car service.

How to find The HD One

Currently and during development, if coming by car follow the numerous 'Galpharm Stadium' signs. The south entrance of Stadium Way, presently only used for match day parking, is accessed from St Andrew's Road and Gasworks Street, whilst the north entrance, now the principal entrance and adjoining the Odeon cinema, is reached by way of Leeds Road (A62) and Bradley Mills Road.
